The Library has always wanted its users to feel at home and to have a comfortable place to read and study. In our effort to achieve that, the huge space between the entrance and the exit of the Library is transformed into a mini living room.

A carpet, three sofas and some potted plants were added to decorate the place. A newspaper rack was also added so that students can read their daily newspapers in the comfort of sofas and air conditioning just like home.

All these newspapers are provided on all days when the Library is open. You can request for back issues of any newspaper by inquiring at the counter. Note however, that newspapers on Sundays and public holidays are not available in the Library.

* The New Paper is provided after 2 p.m. daily. Prior to that, the previous day's paper will be displayed.

^# Friday Weekly, a weekly Mandarin newspaper, is shelved at the Magazines & Periodicals Section

Also take note of the various posters that were hung up on the wall. These are posters of famous composers and one of William Shakespeare. SRJCians can learn more about these composers through the information provided on these posters. So hurry and go to the Library to find out more about them! Another interesting point to note is that you can listen to these composers’ music by borrowing their CDs from the Audio-visual corner.
