Book Reservation
Only open-shelf books can be reserved. Reservations may be made at the counter with a reservation form. When the books are available, the form will be put up on the Notice Board. Books will be held for four days, after which they will be returned to the shelves.
Fines on overdue loans are calculated from the day the book is due to the day the book is returned.
Sundays and Public Holidays are not included in this calculation. Note however, that School Holidays are included in the calculation, since the Library stays open during the holidays.

For each subsequent day after the 6th day, students will be fined $1 per day per open-shelf item.
Red-Spot Items
A fine of $0.20 per hour is imposed per overdue Red-Spot Item.
As you can see, the rates of overdue fines are quite steep, and could easily burn a big hole in your pocket. In fact, we do have fines reaching up to $160.00! So do note the due dates and return your books on time.
