Key Federation Political Documents

The United Federation of Planets is a society governed by laws. Key documents of the Federation are included here, including the Articles of Federation (the Federation constitution) and the Guarantees of Sophont Rights (the Federation's version of the Bill of Rights).

The Federation Flag

This is the original flag of the federation, adopted in 2161. This flag was used by the Federation of Planets prior to the Grand Alliance with the Klingon Empire. It was modeled after the flag of the United Nations of Earth.
