This page reviews of HTML training courses offered on the internet. Two categories of courses are included here: Instructor-lead, where the course is conducted on-line in a group setting (via a chat room or bulletin board) with a teacher; and Self-study, where you either download the course guide or learn through a web site, and work at your own pace. Both types of training have their advantages. Most instructor-lead courses set very small class sizes, and you can benefit from the questions and comments of other students. Self-study allows you to complete the training when you have the time, versus having to be online for scheduled meetings of an instructor-lead course.
In searching for HTML courses, we did not include "online tutorials", which are usually regarding one specific aspect of HTML or web site design. The courses we selected offer a solid foundation in HTML, teaching all the basics needed to learn to build a web site.
We will add other HTML courses as we become aware of them. In the future, other sections reviewing courses in JavaScript, CGI and other web design-related subjects will be included. Check back with the Sundance Web Design home page for more information as it becomes available.
Please note that all courses are subject to change according to the whim of the training site operators. We will strive to keep this information up to date, but are not responsible for discontinuation of any training courses reviewed here if the provider chooses to cancel a course.
