PHOTO GALLERY

All the pictures were taken with SLR Cameras; Ricoh, Minolta and Cosina. One thing that is frequently said is that the photographs produced depend on the person who handle the camera, not the camera itself. Expensive cameras do possess certain functions where it could be felt and seen at higher level of photography. At my level, an amateur , these type of cameras are good enough to produce some surprising pictures. Further more you have to have the knowledge of photography and its art in order to produce some outstanding ones.

There is no coincidence or luck in producing good pictures. There is a lot to learn and need plenty of time to widen my experience. So let me try something that I like and have you as my teacher to give some wonderful thoughts for my improvement.

LANDSCAPES

Life is full of colours. On this meadow, millions of buttercups thrive. It adds beauty to the British landscape. This is somewhere near the town of Wells.

Chesil Beach....a fascinating beach in late spring.Blue sky and sea shot from a hill. The vantage point is quite important in depicting the story of the place. The view of crescent-like beach that divides the land, the sea and a small town in the middle is a self explanatory sort of photo journalism.

This is a common sight if you happen to bypass an English county, a bridge with a swift running clear water in a shallow stream. The heathers too play a role in adding some elements of beauty to the river, thus the picture. This scenery is at Portsbridge in Devon UK....after you travelled through Dartmoor National Park, Portsbridge is the immediate town.

A technique which is quite difficult to find. A frame within a frame. In the picture, the Vicar Close, gives some sense of perspective which is difficult to find. There is a need of some sense of perception in our eyes too....to identify and to exploit the subject to its fullest.
