Link to an interview with Seagle on House of Secrets

Steven T. Seagle is the writer of the Vertigo hit, House of Secrets, about a tough-acting, habitually-lying teenage runaway Rain Harper, who ends up in Seattle, befriends with another runaway, Tracy, a kind of blond bimbo, and Ben, a bassist in a grunge band which makes awful music, and decide to make an abandoned house their crashpad.

Except that the place just happens to house the unearthly Court of Secrets, composed of six spirits collectively known as the Juris, which seizes ordinary Seattle folks to try them for keeping secrets, and banishes them to the basement for eternity if convicted.
