I saw Grand Slam in Wuppertal for the first time last year. They were      
booked for a little cafe called Rick's. We arrived there early and were    
watching for other funkateers to show up. The posters read "P. Funk live in
concert" and Gary 'Mudbone' Cooper was on it, too. But no funk-fans to be  
seen till the start of the show. We were surprised to be let into the      
concert room for free. Meanwhile it was 2 hours after the supposed start   
time. We were even more surprised to find out that not more than 15 people 
had found their way into the cafe to see Grand Slam. I had the chance to   
talk to some of the band members after the show and they told me they      
usually play before crowds of 500 up to 1000 funkateers...
