The autopsy of Terry Schiavo showed that the "vision centers of her brain were dead."  
That calls to mind Dr. Frist's statement: "She certainly seems to respond to visual stimuli."

outed.  He is openly gay.  I include him for aiding the homophobic 
GOP).
14. Jeff Berkowitz, President Bush's liaison to the Jewish Community
15. Rep. Mark Foley of Florida, his outing in 2003 ended a senate campaign.
16. Patrick Guerriero, president of the Log Cabin Republicans
17. Senator Larry Craig of Idaho
18. Rev. Ted Haggard, Senior Pastor of New Life Church, President of 
the National Association of Evangelicals(NAE), and anti-gay rights
crusader

20. Senator Larry Craig of Idaho was arrested in Minneapolis-St Paul 
in June 2007 for "lewd" conduct in a men's bathroom.
21. Brown County Wisconsin GOP Chairman Donald Fleischman, accused of 
enticement and fondling of an underage boy.
22. Washington State lawmaker Richard Curtis resigned his office 
after a man he allegedly paid for sex spoke to the media about the encounter.

I am beginning to wonder, are there are any heterosexuals in the G.O.P.?  
Me thinks they doth protest too much!

But let us not leave out religious hypocrites.  On January 3, 2006 
Lonnie Latham, senior pastor at South Tulsa Baptist Church and a 
Southern Baptist Convention executive committee member was arrested 
on a lewdness charge for propositioning a plainclothes policeman 
outside the Habana Inn, a known haven for male prostitutes.  
Reverend Latham has also spoken out against same-sex marriage and in 
support of a Southern Baptist Convention directive urging its 42,000 
churches to befriend gays and lesbians and try to convince them that 
they can become heterosexual "if they accept Jesus Christ as their 
savior and reject their 'sinful, destructive lifestyle."'
