Chapter 3: The Arrival

After a long ride the group arrived at the gates of Raderie, a guard stood on duty.

AC: "Good day to you, we are here to see the King."

Guard: "Why tell me, I'm just the guard on duty."

After a long debate about who to tell, the guard tells the group to head towards the palace.

Ari: "I didn't know that those guards had such a short temper."

The palace covered in high quality marble shone against the sunlight, two guards stood at the entrance.

Cat: "Greetings, we are here to see the King."

Guard: "Wait here."

The guard enters the palace while the other guard stands infront of the group.

AC: "Well, what seems to be the problem in this city?" *trying to make conversation with the guard*

Guard: ".."

Minmei: "I don't think he wants to talk you AC."

The other guard arrives back and leads the group into the main throne room. There on the throne Red sits and beside him sits Queen Nadia.

Red: "Greetings friends, I hope the travel did not endure much discomfort."

Nadia: "Hello there my dear sisters.. and AC."

Ari: "We heard that there are monsters in the city."

Minmei: "Is this true?"

Red: "Yes you have heard right, and the trouble seems to be getting worst."

Nadia: "That's right, our people are beginning to move out of this city. We thought that you as friends could try to find out a way to stop these monsters."

Cat: "Do you know who is behind this?"

Red: "I've sent my knights Kuren, Ryuuen and my wizard C.Adia to Triod. This is where my wizard suspects that these monsters are coming from."

Nadia: "We have not heard from them for awhile and we want you four to go and look for them. I fear that the King and I can not spare anymore knights as we have to defend the city."

AC: "As you wish your highness, we will try to find your knights and find out who is behind this menance."

Nadia: "I know that you four will try your best, but here I want you to take this medalion. It is a medalion of communication, if you have any problems we can try to send some knights after you. Good luck."

Minmei: *taking the medalion and placing it around her neck* "Thank you."

Cat: "Is there anything else that we should know about?"

Ari: "Do you know of a man called Snitz?"

Red: "Ahh.. yes, Snitz.. becareful of this man, he is cunning and will try to stop you. He works for money and the man behind this menance has paid him well."

Minmei: "I knew we should have killed him when we had the chance!" *slamming her fist in her hand*

Nadia: "He has not always been bad man, he was once one of the knights of Raderie but money and women turned him." *shaking her head*

Red: "It is good to be together again my friends, but I hope you all conquer this evil that has plagued this land."

AC: "Let's go and kick some butt!"

The group of warriors head towards their horses and ride out of the city gates, heading towards Triod.
