During last year's Final Four, a fellow fan from North Dakota (we'll call him "E") started a one-man lobbying effort aimed at Sports Overnight America Host David Brody. Brody responded with the statement: "Who cares about College Hockey!". Well, "E" didn't like being blown off, so he started posting on U.S. College Hockey Online, encouraging people to prove Mr. Brody wrong. I liked the idea, so I posted the Sports Byline web site address on USCHO, along with Ron Barr's personal e-mail address.

The results were encouraging. Brody spent several nights putting down the sport and encouraged the listeners to do so as well. But supporters called, and in surprising numbers. Ron Barr was impressed with the e-mails that fans sent him, and even announced the Final Four Semifinal scores on his show. Brody even watched the National Championship Game between Michigan and Boston College. This after only a few days of lobbying.

Now, as we head toward the playoffs, it's time to start lobbying these guys again. Use the links below and tell them exactly how you feel (within certain limits, of course!). I think this can work even better the second time around. Good luck!!!
