I am Jugidahli Usdi
Welcome to my web site.

Well, to tell you a little bit about myself,
I have lived in Michigan all my life.
I grew up on the East side of the state,
in the country but now enjoy life
here in South Western Michigan
where I live with my two children.

My nature is quiet and intense.
I am passionate, adventurous and energetic, sensuous,
understanding and a spirited soul and l love romance.

I don't generally need hearts and flowers
to give me a warm and fuzzy glow,
although they are nice...lol....

What's far more important to me is to find a partner
who is equally strong and self-possessed
and who will challenge me to greater heights,
both mentally and physically.

My strengths are patience, openness,
gentleness and forgiveness,
honesty and loyalty.

My weaknesses are too trusting sometimes,
stubbornness, acting and thinking with my
heart more than my head,
the scent of vanilla, herbal teas & chocolate,
and my friends.

I am very spiritual and to best honor
Creator by walking the path of those
who walked before me.
I walk the path of the Red Road
as Creator would have me do.
Although the path is sometimes a hard one,
I believe it allows me to become stronger.
Arising from these teachings are

1. Speak only words of truth.
2. Speak only of the good qualities of others.
3. Be a confidant and carry no tales.
4. Turn aside the veil of anger
to release the beauty inherent in all.
5.Honor the light in all.
Compare nothing; see all for its such ness.
6. Respect all life; cut away ignorance from one’s own heart.
7. Neither kill nor harbor thoughts of angry nature,
which destroy peace like an arrow.
8. Do it now, if you see what needs done, do it

Reflections of Who I Am

Every Dawn as it comes is a holy event and
every day is holy, for the light comes from Wakan-Tanka

My friends are the most important people
in my life along with my family.
I'm fiercely loyal and protective of those I love
and care for. They help to shape my way
of living, seeing, learning and loving.
My friends, I have to say have truly blessed my life.
I consider them to be soul-friends...
They are the kindred spirits of my life.

I am very interested in American Indian Art,
My Native heritage and of course History
and studying the medicine wheel and
animal totems, crystals and how they apply to
my daily life to walk in balance & harmony
and the traditions to pass down to my children.
I am trying to learn the spoken language.
I am Cherokee.

When I am not researching my family history,
I keep busy involved in Boy Scouts of America
and Girl Scouts of America.
I am very active at the troop level and
enjoy it very much.
It helps me to teach others how to respect
and truly listen to Mother Earth,
to protect her and all that dwell upon her,
and it also lets me share with others my
adventures and tales along the way.
I love Camping and Hiking,
Star gazing and being out in nature.

When I am stuck indoors,
I like to build websites for friends and local businesses
and chat with people online.
I have made many friends from all over the world,
and am grateful that through the internet I am able to do this.

The pages within this site are
the musings of the last 4 years or so.
As my life goes forward and my wisdom increases,
I will be updating these pages.
So I guess you can say
that this site will always be under construction.

I am completely overwhelmed with the idea of
talking to people from all over the world .
And even though we may be
(what seems to be)
worlds apart, we all live on common ground,
and in some cases have very much in common.
