My Johnson Line

(01) Jeremiah Johnson was born in Georgia about 1804, he married (1) Elizabeth *Vick on 25 December 1837 in Richmond County Georgia. Elizabeth died about 1842.

(02) Isaac Johnson, born c1839 in Georgia, married Mary __?__, born c1842 in South Carolina. they married about 1858 in Georgia, probably Burke County. Known children: (1870 census Burke County Ga pg 255)

(03) Elizabeth Johnson, born 1859 Georgia.
(03) Charlie Johnson, born c1860 Georgia.
(03) Alex Johnson, born c1864 in Georgia.

(02) Susan V. Johnson, born 29 June 1842 in Georgia, died 25 April 1919 in Bell County texas. Married William Dean Rutledge on 1 February 1864 in Richmond County Georgia.

Jeremiah Johnson married (2) *Nancy , born about 1827 in Georgia. They married 17 December 1844 in Richmond County Georgia. Their known children:

NOTES & SOURCES:

* Elizabeth's name is recorded "Vick" on death record, ( gives North Caro;ina as her birthplace), "Dick" on marriage record. I believe Vick is correct.

* There are descripancies on the name of Jeremiah's 2nd or possibly 3rd wife, "Nancy" on census records, Marriage record gives name as Elizabeth Tant, at least one descendant states her name is Nancy Templeton, and the marriage record is signed by a Templeton, which would indicate some connection.
Census gives her birth date about 1827, which would make her about 17 at time of marriage to Jeremiah Johnson. Is Nancy and Elizabeth Tant same person?
