Initial submission
Visit Paper submission for details on online submission.
We invite technical papers, embedded tutorials, and full-day or half-day tutorial proposals. For the technical papers and embedded tutorial proposals, author/s must not reveal their identity
All submitting authors must become members of the vdat@yahoogroups.com mailing list, through which, updates on the symposium will be notified.
Technical papers and embedded tutorials
Authors are invited to submit unpublished work in a maximum of 10 A4 size pages including figures, appendices and references. For Embedded tutorials (1 hour duration), the proposals must include the full papers.
The submissions will undergo double-blind reviews: authors must not indicate their names or affiliations anywhere in the text, and if possible, in the references. The submissions should represent original contributions and should not have been submitted to other forums, printed journals or conferences.
Please indicate the area clearly when you make the submission. The area must also be indicated in the first page of the manuscript, below the title. Please do not submit survey papers. It is assumed that at least one author will register and attend the conference to present the paper.

Full-day or half-day tutorial proposals
Authors may also submit proposals for full-day (6 hours' duration) or half-day (3 hours' duration) tutorials in the areas mentioned above. In this case, you must clearly indicate by placing the text Tutorial Submission below the title and providing the details of the speaker(s).
Each tutorial submission must consist of an extended abstract. We encourage tutorials in the emerging areas.Tutorial proposals should have
  • (i) Tutorial title and short summary (in about 200 words)
  • (ii) Name, affiliation and contact details of the co-ordinating presenter and all other co-presenters
  • (iii) Target audience and prerequisites along with beneficial impact of the tutorial on the intended participants (in about 75 words)
  • (iv) detailed tutorial program, delineated sub-topic-wise description of the structure with time duration of each (in about 2000 words)
  • Panel discussions

Panel discussion proposals must be submitted together with details of the topics, their relevance, and the conflicts they will address, together with names of panelists.
