Shaw Cemetery
Town of Brant, Erie County, New York
1848 - 1865

The Shaw Cemetery is located on Route #5, Village of Farnham ,
in the Town of Brant, one mile east of the junction of
Route #249 and Route #5, on the south side of the road.
Until 1964, this cemetery was inaccessible due to overgrowth,
but the town cleaned it up and has taken over its care.
The area was probably part of the farm of
Granville Mayhew set aside for the burial of his family,
but other families are also buried there.
At the present time, only five stones can be located,
but it is most probable that many graves are unmarked.
