The Angelion Letters, the novel I just completed, is the historical tale of a Welsh immigrant coal miner and his family over 100 years, focusing on the women in the family. It explores issues of faith, sanity and personal relationships between family members and the society around them. Much of the story is related through family correspondence and journals, reflecting the inner minds of the characters as they move through time. Watch for it next year... it is beginning the process of finding a publisher now.... thanks for your enthusiastic support! Jade and Rebel

My first effort is a work of fiction. Bean Patch Epiphany is a story loosely based on the life of my grandmother, who was one of the bravest people I ever knew. The story is told reflectively and is the record of her fifty year struggle in an abusive marriage. It takes place in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and also reveals the social dichotomies of various mountain folk over five generations. My second novel is a work still in progress and is the story of a self-destructive woman's relationship with her family. Thank you for your interest and good wishes. I hope to have something on the shelf by Autumn.
