Welcome to the Adoption Center of MYR!
I first fell in love with Fire Lizards while reading the Pern series of books by Anne McCaffrey..their loving disposition and remarkable telepathic abilities endeared them to my heart! I began searching for adoptable eggs of my own..just because I loved them so. I was VERY fortunate to be entrusted with not only a QUEEN, but a wonderful BROWN as well. From these two our adoption center has evolved. I love the idea of the "growing" eggs, and so have developed 4 stages for these eggs to progress through.
Step one: EGG... Step two: HATCHLING... Step three: JUVENILE... Step four: ADULT.
Each stage will take approximately one week to "evolve" and you will be expected to have your new stage placed within that time.
If you love them too, then you have come to the right place! But be warned, we take this responsibility very seriously..we only want the best homes for our babies!!

We here at MYR are VERY proud to announce that our GORGEOUS Queen Facet and our HUGE but charming Brown Colandrath have completed their fifth mating flight! Now not many browns are large, or powerful enough to keep up with a queen, but our big guy had NO problem!
As a result of this momentous event, we now have, warming on the sands of MYR, a clutch of 10 Fire Lizard eggs!!! Not a very large clutch, but we must keep in mind that this is only their fifth!
Here is a rundown of the eggs available and their colors:
The first number is how many in the clutch..the second number is how many are left to adopt
QUEEN--Gold egg (0/0)
BRONZE--Bronze egg (2/0)
BROWN--Brown egg (2/0)
BLUE--Blue egg (4/0)
GREEN--Green egg(2/0)
At this point, we have decided to adopt out ALL of this clutch...BUT...there are a few rules we need to establish before we let you actually see the eggs! If after reading the rules you still would like to adopt, just go to the "Adoption form" page and send me your application....OR...If all of the eggs show (0) and you would like to reserve an egg from the next clutch, just go to the "Reservation Form" and fill in the form...OR...If you just can't wait for the next clutch, try the Orphanage to see if we have any little orphans to adopt!

The first rule, and I can't stress this enough, YOU MUST HAVE A WEB PAGE TO PLACE YOUR PRECIOUS BABY!!!
The next rule is that your web page must NOT contain any material that would NOT be suitable for young children to view..in other words, no pornography..no hate pages..etc. I will be the final say on content! ALL of my sites AND links are Family Friendly and will remain so!
I have decided to use "pickup" pages instead of sending the graphics in the email since so many people have problems with that.
Once you have been chosen to recieve one of MYR's babies, you will have ONE WEEK to put the egg, or stages on your site. I will be checking!! I will expect an email telling me when it was placed FOR EACH STAGE and exactly what url the baby is located. This will be used to keep our "PROUD PARENTS" page updated! If I do NOT receive an email within a week, I will assume you are no longer interested and will place YOUR baby in the Orphanage.
If at ANY TIME you find you no longer want your baby, or you just don't have time to take care of it, PLEASE return it to MYR and we will place it in our orphanage to be adopted out again to a loving home.
You MUST provide a link back to THIS page so other people can adopt their own Fire Lizard! It can be a text link OR you can link the birth certificate..whatever is best for you.
Do NOT take the egg and place it on your page..once all the eggs have been adopted, I will send your egg to you..I will notify you by email if you are getting one so you can prepare your page before hand.
