I am assuming since you are here that you would like to learn a little more about the person who developed this wonderful Land Of MYR. To many this will come as a surprise...for I have another site on the World Wide Web known as Welcome to BJ's World. This is where I have been able to show my love of Victoriana. But as you will see, there is another side to this person known as "BJ"!

I began thinking about this new site several months ago as I was preparing a list of links to places of "fantasy" that I had found on my travels across cyber space. As time went on I couldn't get this image of a world all of my own that was strictly fantasy out of my mind.

As the plans began to develop in my mind for the Land of MYR, I realized that the reason for this world was the child inside was crying out for release from the adult, practical and common sense, mind it has been trapped in.

We all have that little child inside..the one that looks at the summer blue sky and marvels at the perfection of it..that watches, with goosebump fascination as a spider spins it's silken web in the early morning and as the dew sparkles like diamonds in the earliest sun. The one that cries at the miracle of a newborn puppy or kitten. The one who still gets a scary thrill from the lightening and thunder of a summer storm. The one who STILL thinks "puppy breath" is just wonderful!

The child that still believes in UNICORNS and FAIRIES and all the magical things of the stories we heard or read. The one who STILL puts out cookies and milk for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

Therefore...this site is BY and FOR the child that BJ has decided to release to this world of cyberspace. It is a frightening thing for the world can be a hurtful place..but I can deny this child no longer...and so I give you THE LAND OF MYR. Please enjoy your visit and I hope with all my heart that when you leave here, you will take with you a little of the "wonder" of that child and maybe find a way to let "your" child come out and play!
