Witty situation comedy which premiered in September 1982, about the diverse and
strange crowd who frequent a popular Beantown pub. The establishment belongs to ex-Boston
Red Sox pitcher and renowned ladies man, Sam Malone, who also tends bar -- while still
finding time to flirt and fight with the intellectually pretentious (but adorable)
waitress Diane Chambers.
