    James Tate 2nd was born 1638 in York Co., VA. He married Anne Upham 1685 in VA. He died 1727 in New Kent Co., VA. Anne was born abt. 1640 in VA. Their children: James 3rd.

    Robert Tate was born 1773 in Orange Co., N.C. He married Martha ?. He died 1804 in Davidson Co., TN. Their children: David Macklin; Robert S.; Joseph D.; Zachariah; Richard B.

                                    Generation No. 7

    David Macklin Tate sr. was born 1790 in Orange Co., TN. He died Feb. 18 and Dec. 18 of 1852 and 1853 in Monroe Co., IL. His 1st wife was Elizabeth Clampett. She died aft. 1840. Their children: Robert A.; Ezekial; David Macklin jr. His 2nd wife was Sara Ann Hitchcock, no children.

                                    Generation No. 8

    Ezekial Tate was born May 30, 1821 in Wilson Co., TN. He married Bethsheba Miller Jan. 27, 1841 in St. Clair Co., IL. He died Oct. 15, 1907 in Jefferson Co., IL. Bethsheba was born Jun. 15, 1822 in St. Clair Co., IL. She died Jun. 22, 1911 in Jefferson Co., IL. Their children: Sarah Elizabeth; Joseph Robert; William Alexander; Marinda Jane; Charles Amos; James Albert; Absolom Monroe; Thomas Jefferson; George Ezekial; Ada.

    Joseph Robert Tate was born Apr. 1, 1844 in St. Clair Co. IL. He married Martha McCormack 1867. He died Dec. 17, 1896 in Jefferson Co., IL. Matha was born Feb. 19, 1847. She died Feb. 15, 1920 in Jefferson Co., IL. Their children: Ollie; Lucy; Libbie; Ben; Isacc Edward; Joe Ab; James L.; Eva; Dosha; Manson; Annie; Robert M.; Mattie; infant.

     Edward F. Wielt was born Nov. 15, 1879 in Monroe Co., IL. He married Dosha Tate. He died Nov. 15, 1943 in Jefferson Co., IL. Dosha was born Jul. 9, 1883 in Jefferson Co., IL. She died Jun. 25, 1908 in Jefferson Co., IL. Edward married again in 1911 to Nellie Henry. His children with Dosha: James Russell; Lela; Paul; infant Son. His children with Nellie: Lucille; Dorothy; Bud.
