This is my page on my opinions and just my take on just. . . stuff.  I probably wont have many to start off with but as I think of them I'll add them to the site.

Opinions

Well what better opinion to start on then opinions themselves.  This is the way people work for the most part I think and hopefully am right.  Some of my opinions will be right and some will be wrong for the ones that are right a person will read them and see that its right and realize what theyve been doing or saying about it is wrong.  So in turn one of a few things will happen, the first thing would be theyd change the way the say or do something and simply agree with the new way of putting it but not REALLY feeling that way.  Like saying or doing one thing but thinking another right.  So say someone thinks or does something one way and I say its this other way or whatever and Im right and they realize that so they still believe their way is right but see my way is better, so they say my way not really thinking that way.  But then now that Ive said this, they wouldnt do that because Ive shut off that option by pointing it out so Id obviously know if you were doing it.  So the other thing theyd do would be maybe to simply disagree with it and act as though their way is the right or real way because they cannot simply swallow their pride and admit theyre wrong.  And of course the last two things are theyd simply truly agree or disagree with me right from the start.

Love

My second topic that Id like to share my opinion on is Love and being In Love.  I feel WAY too many people just throw these words around like theyre nothing.  This is an extremely meaningful word not to be used lightly.  Another thing is sometimes people ask How do you know when youre In Love?  Now as far as Im concerned there is only one true honest answer to this and it is You just know.  Thats it, there is NO other way to describe being In Love.  Ive seen these love sites and love forwards that people see and send and everything and its always some stupid in depth spiel about what it means to be in love or how you know.  When someone feels the need to try to describe how they know or what it means or what the feelings are when youre In Love theyre trying to convince themselves they are actually In Love when inside they know theyre not.  To me doing that makes it that much more obvious that you are actually not In Love.  I have been In Love and know that there are no such words for describing being In Love believe me Ive tried to find those words and there really is no way to say it because the truth is You just know.

Another thing about Love is that it comes in all different ways, love at first sight is very possible just as it is possible to be with someone for years and years and Love them but not be In love with them you can fall In Love at most any age and anytime and it is possible to be In Love with more then one person.  There are a million different types of love, family love, friends love, lovers love (just because you have sex with someone doesnt mean youre In love with them) and the list goes on.  But there is only one type of being In Love with someone, and thats the person most people end up spending their lives together with.

The only thing that may contradict any of this, and this is just my belief, is that I believe that every person has a Soul Mate. . . But finding that person is a very rare thing, not every person finds their Soul Mate and arent ment to.  When you find your Soul Mate though . . . You Just Know.

Emotion in music

The next thing Id like to voice my opinion about is something that pisses me off a lot.  That is what some bands; two bands in particular, do in music.  The two bands Im using as my example are Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.  Although there are a few other bands that do this these are the two bands that are in the spotlight recently and more people would know.  What it is is that one theyre sell outs and two they sing emotional lyrics without emotion.  The two tie reasons tie together actually because they sing those lyrics because they are smart enough to know that kids will relate to what theyre singing and buy their albums and listen to their music.  They sing their songs without any emotion and they try to show emotion on their faces in the videos but you cannot hear it in their voices.  Good Charlotte is the bigger sell out band because theyve been around for a pretty long time and were an underground band for awhile.  Now Im not sure if this is exactly what happened but its usually one of two things that happen.  They start out playing music they like to play and dont care if theyre making money at it but are usually making enough to get by.  Then some big record company comes along and says We will pay you this much money if you change your sound (to sound more mainstream/more radio friendly) So then they become money hungry and bow down to what the record company wants.  Or they already know that changing their sound will give them mainstream exposure and more money so they do it and get a record deal.  Now what happens with the lyrics is they realize even more that if they sing certain lyrics theyll reach another type of crowd so they write a few songs like that and boom more money.  Look at Good Charlottes song Hold on theyre so close to blatantly saying dont give up, youre not alone because we know how you feel which obviously is the point of the song to make kids feel like these people know you how feel.  Simple Plan does it in a few of their songs most obviously in their song Perfect.  It pisses me off because kids fall for the false bullshit all the time.  Real emotion you can hear in a singers voice, the two bands that put more emotion into their lyrics then any other band is Staind and KoRn the lead singer simply sings about things he has been through in life he doesnt care if people relate to them or if people buy their albums and theyve been singing and playing the same way since they started.  Listen to songs by KoRn like Daddy, Kill you, Counting on Me, or Proud that is emotion or Zoe Jane, Black Rain, or Cant Believe by Staind.  This isnt sung because they want people to relate to it, its sung because its a way for the singers to get out their emotions or frustrations its a release, its who and what they are.
