This is a page dedicated to The Stupid Club
The "Stupid Club" refers to the group of musicians who died in their
prime. Mostly at, or around, the age of 27. The "Birth" you might call it, of the "Stupid Club" was a few
days after Kurt Cobain died. Wendy O'Connor, Kurt Cobains mother, was quoted as saying "Now he's gone and joined that
stupid club, I told him not to join that stupid club."
I KNEW there was something else besides what Kurt Cobains mother
had said days after his death... Thanks to the annoymous surfer who put this in my guestbook.
Like she told him, I'll tell you - "Don't ever join the stupid club.
You would break more hearts than you know. You are loved for your kindness, your generosity to your friends ,your music, yourself.
You are the strongest most real person I know."
The group of musicians in the stupid club reads like a book on the history
of Rock. . .
