Becoming a Member

We are always looking for people interested in joining or supporting our organisation.

How Can You Join?

The band currently practices at the Ellerslie Primary School on Wednesday evenings.

Practices normally commence at 7.30pm. Perspective members are encouraged and welcomed to attend any practice.

Who Can Join?

The band is always on the lookout for new musicians. We are currently recruiting experienced musicians used to competing at the national level.

The band also offers tuition to those wishing to learn either the bagpipes or drums.

The band also wishes to expand and diversify its repertoire. This means we would welcome enquiries from musicians wishing to experiment with music and be a part of something special.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our band. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, our passion for music.

The band is family orientated, with regular retreats to the beach where partners and children are welcome. 

We would encourage you to read the history of the band to see what it has achieved in a short space of time.


The band has a proud history, and our humble opinion, a big future. We encourage you to be a part of that future.
