We got into Denver I guess a bit earlier than we were supposed to. When I got off the plane, there was Daire sitting there waiting for me. It's always so cool to see someone you know there. We went to get my luggage and noticed that Karen's plane was going to be a bit late. About an hour and 20 minutes late. So instead of meeting her at her gate, we figured we would wait at the baggage pick-up for her. We went to get my luggage then stopped to get something to drink. By then it seemed it was almost time for Karen to get in. So we headed on down to where she would be getting her bags. Time seemed to go pretty fast.

When I saw that her flight had arrived I started looking for her. I knew that she had put a henna on her hair, which in Anaheim was a brownish color mostly, with I guess a maroon streak with a blonde streak in the front... well it's not like that now. :-)  But I had no problem picking her out as she walked toward me.

We all went out and took the shuttle to go to the hotel to meet Adonnamous.

When we walked in the hotel Donna came over to us and we took our stuff upstairs to unpack. I think by this time it was like 4:30. Registration wasn't supposed to start until later so we had some time to bond.

When we were checking things out to find where things were going to be, we saw LT sitting where the registration line was going to be. I was so happy to see him there. It was nice to know that he made it. He looks good.

I guess then we walked around for awhile, my mind is foggy, it seems like so long ago. And so much has happened in the past few days, I am really lucky I can think at all.

We ended up standing in line to register. It wasn't too bad, besides there wasn't much to do because nothing was really going on until Friday. We got our packets and the I got a "lovely" t-shirt in mine. Here is what was on the back.

Like I said, Lovely.  What this has to do with HL,  I don't know.

Anyway... what did we do next guys, help me out here. About the only thing that I really remember was getting yelled at by "K'bat" about standing in single file and against the wall. :-)

Oh. at around midnight on Thursday I remember laying in bed and hearing this noise. An alarm type noise. I thought it was outside, but before long there was someone on the PA saying that there was an alarm that went off on the 8th floor. The elevators would not be working until the fire department came and checked it out. Being the nosy person that I am, I had to go out in the hallway to see if I could see what was going on. Daire followed me out there. You could see others all in their jammies looking all around wondering if there was really a fire. About a half hour later, the voice on the PA came back on and said that everything was ok. So... we could go back to bed. Good thing too, we knew we had a busy day on Friday and wanted to be rested up.
