FRANCE

Cannes - 24/06/1999

"I'm already back in France!!! Italy is a splendid country and Italians are really nice and friendly people (unlike the Greeks...) but I got an overdose of exotism. I run like a Bullet through the country and reached the French Riviera yesterday where I am relaxing for a few days at my brother's place before hitting the road again for a final stretch. I am planning to reach the "Arc de Triumphe" on Saturday, 3 July. I was welcome here by my family, some friends and the members of a bikers club.I enjoyed a first glass of Pastis... So far, I made around 12 000kms and hope the last 1000 will be allright. Next message from Paris."

  Done! Yannick is arrived as planned, after 14 000 km and 2 months...
Familiy, friends, bike lovers were under the Arc de Triomphe to welcome him. What a trip!
