UEFA Cup semi-finals draw.

Arsenal v Lens
Galatasaray v Leeds

First leg is to be played on 6th of April

Reactions

Peter RIDSDALE, Leeds United AFC chairman:
"I'm just pleased we have avoided Arsenal at this stage and that we are away from home for the first leg. We set out our stall at the start of the season to get a place in the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Cup has been a great bonus for us. With that draw, I think we have a good chance to get to the final."

Mete RAZLIKLI, Galatasaray SK technical director:
"We did not mind who we drew in the semi-finals. If we win the trophy it will be the first time that national champions will have won the UEFA Cup. That victory would be a major boost not just for us, but Turkish football as a whole."

David DEIN, Arsenal FC vice-chairman:
"We're good friends - half our team is French after all. We played last season and had two good matches. We drew one and tragically we lost at home in the return which was a disaster for us. Of course we want revenge but we have a cordial relationship with Lens."

Jean-Luc ARRIBART, RC Lens technical director:
"We think it is good to get Arsenal especially as we are playing at Highbury first. We have had trouble in the French championship, but wins over big teams like Celta de Vigo has given us a lot of confidence. (Arsenal manager) Arsène Wenger is a good friend, and I am looking forward to coming up against him."
