Chapter 4

Meanwhile back at Farmer's apartment Ash had herself closed up in a back room, a row of candle around her in beer bottles, and an old book in front of her.

Carefully she spread a map out in front of her. Then while holding a crystal suspended from a string she began to repeat some nonsense words. But these words were anything but nonsense. Around her the candle flames seemed to take there own life and danced around her before the spinning crystal pulled from her hand and pierced the map in front of her. "Got it!" she said excitedly and she closed the book and hid it in her back pack. Then she blew out all the candles and stuffed them in behind it.

She stood with the map and looked at the hole the crystal had made. It was over the cemetery.
"Oh, bother." she said distressed. Then the door opened and the others walked in on her looking at the hole. "Found her!" she announced peeking through the hole at them.

Fluffy took the map and saw the location. "Blast!' she said. "The Count again. I knew this was too dangerous."
"Trust me, Fluffy, it's more dangerous then you know." he said. "Come quickly we haven't much time."

They all piled in to Farmer van and drove towards the cemetery. While watching the road, Fluffy demanded to know why farmer was so quite.

"Because Molly is a Slayer." He said suddenly.

Fluffy's mouth fell. "What?" she asked.

"She would have been." He corrected. "She's too old to be called now, but at one time she too had a watcher. A real one from England, not someone like me. "

Fluffy's mind was having a hard time accepting these facts and she sat back in shock.

However, Ash pressed on, asking question.

"So, you have a slayer in the Family?" she asked.

"Not really, I didn't see Molly much. She spent much of her time training." He explained. "But after the council was sure she wasn't going to be called, she returned home. The whole time she was in training she wanted to go to England. When she found out I was here, watching my own Slayer, she so wanted to come. Not only for the sites, but to meet you Fluffy."  Farmer looked back at Fluffy in the back seat. She was still in shock and not saying a word.

"How come you wanted me to protect her?" Fluffy asked.

"Because not being called, means, no more strength. She still has the smarts, but not the arts." He punned. "the Count doesn't know this, but if he was to turn her, make her a vampire, she would have the evil and smarts all in one. An enemy to defiantly be reckoned with."
"So we have to get her, before he figures it out." said Ash.

"I don't think he will wait to figure it out." He said. "I believe he will do anything to hurt me, just to...just to get to Fluffy."

Fluffy breathed deep and pulled her stake from her jacket. "Don't worry Farmer, I won't let anything happen to her. So step on it!" Farmer's foot met the floor.

Not too soon after it skidded to a stop in front of the path that lead to the Count's lair. It was the exact place marked on the map.

"Are you sure this is it?" Alex asked.

"It's what the map says." said Ash. "it should be down that path and deep in the cemetery."

"Well, what are we waiting for?" said Fluffy, "Let's get going and kick his crypt."
