Major Difference

The major difference between the first and high loop (2nd loop and beyond) is the change of landform, in stages 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Due to this reason, the 2nd loop require a complete different fighting method. And hence game level is much more difficult than the 1st loop.

In the 2nd loop, the highest level of difficulty should be at the Rolling Core, the boss of High Speed stage.

Well, pin point to every move of Vic Viper can easily help players to challenge the 2nd loop. But in the same time, fun will be lost to new players. I think it is an interesting point for people to develope their own fighting style. And also because of the matter of time, this section will not include very detail tactics of all the stages in the 2nd loop. But, in the other hand, I did captured some screen shots which you may interested in, together with some hints.

Option Hunter

You'll see the appearance time of Option Hunter in high loops (2nd loop and beyonds) is different from the 1st loop. This is because the time when you equip the first Option determines directly the timing of Option Hunters, instead of the last Option. Two tactics I have invented:

1) Equip an Option quickly at the beginning of the first stage.

In doing this, you have to obtain 5 spare powers to highligh the OPTION box near the end of the Last stage in the (for example) 1st loop. Option Hunter will then appear near the middle section of the Bubble stage. By the time, locate Vc Viper at the upper-left corner of the screen with Options positioned below. With 2 level (or above) of Speed Up, Option Hunter cannot steal any Option but just flying to the right.

The next time an Option Hunter will appear should be in the Moai stage, High Speed stage, Boss Rush stage and finally the Last stage.

Remember if Vic Viper get crashed, or Option Hunter steals all the Options away, the timing will be different as it depends on the present of an Option.

2) Do not equip any Option until the middle of the first stage. (about where there is a big golden sphere)

The most advantage of doing this is to make Option Hunter not to appear in the middle of the Bubble and Moai stage, which is seems more safe in most cases.

The first time an Option Hunter will appear should be near the end of Bubble, or at the beginning of Magma. It depends on your timing. Then, in the next time, Option Hunter should appear near the end of Moai stage, two times in the Boss Rush stage and finally the Last stage.

This tactics is the one I invented in latter. This is also which I used in most time of plays nowadays.

Reflect Bullet

From the 3rd loop and beyond, there will be reflect bullets in enemies. Game difficulty become totally crazy under this situation. Most usual tactics will no longer possible especially fixed Option attack. Even the first stage become very tricky. To survive, one must able to escape all the bullets in the screen, besides destroying the enemies. In doing this, a long period of practice time is a must.
