"The application of a magnetic field has the virtues of simplicity, freedom from danger, and low cost. It offers the layperson a suitable form of self treatment for the minor ills of everyday life."
       - Dr. Evelyne Holzapfel

What is the principle of magnet therapy?
An imbalance between the various electromagnetic forces present in the body results in disease. Eliminating the imbalance of these forces so as to restore their natural balance is the principle of magnet therapy.
This therapy has gained tremendous importance and acceptance in Japan, Russia, Germany and its wings are reaching India. 25% of Japanese people use this therapy as a mode of treatment for human and animal ailments.

Let us get acquainted with certain terms regarding Magnetotherapy:

1) Magnetic field:
     i) The space around a magnet in which its power of attraction is effective.
ii) The space around an electric current in which the magnetic force of its current is felt.
2) Gauss: It refers to the level of energy at the core surface of the magnets.
3) Ferromagnetic substances: The substances strongly attracted towards a magnet. E.g.. Iron, nickel
4) Paramagnetic substances: The substances only mildly attracted towards a magnet. E.g.. Fluids like water.
5) Diamagnetic substances: Substances which move away from a magnet. E.g.. Gold, silver
6) Loadstone: A hard, black stone attracting iron and steel like a magnet.

Did you know?
That the earth itself is a huge magnet, possessing a magnetic field. All bodies in space have a magnetic field! Man dwells in an ocean of magnetic waves which influence him!

So why not maintain health using a controlled, artificial magnetic field?
