JC: DK refers to "differentiated molecules" as forming the atom from within. This is an important distinction to bear in mind. Presently science calls them electrons.

Atoms in mass substance correspond to the physical body. In their molecular nature they correspond to the Astral body. In their ATOMIC NATURE to the spiritual body.  More and more wonderful are the forces liberated as we approach the atomic nature of matter… Atoms are composed of pure ELACTRICITY or LIGHT or GOD. A certain number of electrons grouped together will form the metallic elementals, Gold, Silver ect. Another Oxygen, Hydrogen ect. The Cosmos is built by number dividing time in perfect MEASURE. This is the song of life and being.

The human body as a mass of cells does not manifest any occult properties. It is simply organic matter. But the cells make man more than rock which is non-cellular. The cells are lives. Within the cells are molecules. This is the lower astral man. Within the molecules are atoms. This is the spiritual man. Within the atoms is God – Light – the Ultimate… There is but one God, but one life, but one Ultimate, and we are THAT. Hilarion. Theogenesis.

"An atom contains within itself differentiated molecules" DK.

"Within the molecules are atoms." H.

JC: We are told that atomic structure considered as an individual unit it an elemental life and that it is both negative and positive, being both electron and atom.

JC: Accordingly we are told:

"The human body as a mass of cells"

"Within the cells are molecules" being "lower astral man"

"Within the molecules are atoms" being "the spiritual man."

"Within the atoms" is God – Light – the Ultimate. H.

"Every atom therefore is both positive and negative,—it is an electron as well as an atom." DK.

"The lesser atoms which revolve round their positive centre, and which are at present termed electrons by science." DK.

JC: DK indicates that science at present terms "lesser atoms" as electrons. I regard DK as referring to these as "differentiated molecules" which explains how he refers to molecules as being within atoms. "lesser atoms" are "differentiated molecules" and accordingly "an atom contains within itself differentiated molecules". In the future, science will possibly term them as they truly are.

"The electron itself will eventually be found to be an elemental, tiny life." DK.

Atoms are made up of 3 types of particles electrons  , protons  and neutrons  .  These particles have different properties.  Electrons are tiny, very light particles that have a negative electrical charge (-). Protons are much larger and heavier than electrons and have the opposite charge, protons have a positive charge.  Neutrons are large and heavy like protons, however neutrons have no electrical charge.  Each atom is made up of a combination of these particles. Protons and neutrons behave like small particles, sort of like tiny billiard balls.  The electron however, has some of the properties of a wave.  In other words, the electron is more similar to a beam of light than it is to a billiard ball.  Thus to represent it as a small particle spinning around a nucleus is slightly misleading.  In actuality, the electron is a wave that surrounds the nucleus of an atom like a cloud. www.

The second point I seek to make now is:  Radiation is transmutation in process of accomplishment. DK.

Transmutation being the liberation of the essence in order that it may seek a new centre, the process may be recognised as radioactivity technically understood and applied to all atomic bodies without exception. DK.

all radiations, such as magnetism or psychic exhalation, are but the transmuting process proceeding on a large scale. DK.

Electromagnetism is the physics of the electromagnetic field: a field which exerts a force on particles that possess the property of electric charge, and is in turn affected by the presence and motion of those particles. www.

Radioactive decay is the process in which unstable atomic nucleus lose energy by emitting radiation in the form of particles or electromagnetic waves. www.

JC: Radioactivity is the emitting of particles which are electrons or differentiated molecules also known as electromagnetism, E = mc². They have eventually come under the law of repulsion or scattering, to find a new center of activity and evolution. It is light vibrating through matter. It is soul light created by the contact of spirit and matter producing eventually such a frequency of vibration that escape of the spirit aspect is achieved and matter is dissipated, or differentiated further as the residual into the "primordial stuff" for eventual further karmic attraction and cycle of outgoing, Km = mdlc².

the central life corresponds to the positive charge of electrical force predicated by science. DK.

IV. First moisture, slow and all enveloping; then heat with ever-growing warmth and fierce intensity; then force that presses, drives and concentrates.  Thus is radiance pro­duced; thus the exudation; thus mutation; thus change of form.  Finally liberation, escape of the volatile essence, and the gathering of the residue back to primordial stuff. DK.

JC: Moisture corresponds for our purposes as the negative "Cloud" of electrons or "differentiated molecules", the lesser atoms of DK. They surround and envelope the positive life or proton and it is these that "burn" and produce "moisture", they are related to the astral man as are the outer molecular makeup of molecular structure. The inner positive spirit becomes so powerful that radiance through transmutation causes the differentiated molecules, the electrons, to scatter and seek new form of another type and of a newly and more refined and higher evolved constitution. This is redemption and evolution in process and the transmutation of the lunar lords by the solar lords. The inner proton and nucleus consist thusly, "the proton contains one down quark and two up quarks, while the neutron contains two down quarks and one up quark." We may see that within both are a triplicity, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd logos.

Transmutation is the passage across from one state of being to another through the agency of fire. DK.

He worketh with the Agnichaitans, that hide, that burn, and thus produce the needed moisture. DK. OC.

All forms are built up in an analogous manner and the only difference consists—as the text-books teach—in the arrangement and the number of the electrons. DK.

It is inter­esting to note how in the scientific expression 'radioactivity,' we have the eastern conception of Vishnu-Brahma, or the Rays of Light vibrating through matter. DK.

JC: This is electromagnetism or the process of radiation in varying degrees. It explains the wave/particle duality of science. An electron, atom or human has an energy/mass conglomerate and displays light/particle duality. In the case of the human, when this duality of form and soul becomes apparrent we have "the Dweller on the Threshold, expressing and utilizing fire by friction" or Km = mdlc² and we might consider this relating to the three lower planes of the cosmic physical plane and "the Dweller on the Threshold, whether that Dweller is the human Dweller on the Threshold, planetary Forces of Materialism, or some Aspect of Cosmic Evil."
