Opinion:
Mechanical
Animals is a new aproach by Marilyn Manson. This is Manson's glam
erra. The album is a slow, dazy train ride involving drugs, sex, and
the sick side of society, in my point of view. The songs are good
though, and well thought out. But they didn't have the kind of catch
that Antichrist Superstar did. Unfortunatly, after this album
was released people all of a sudden forgot about Marilyn Manson. No
more rumors, no more T-Shirts. Sure there were stil fans, but many
were lost. To make things even worse the Colombine shootings happened
and society found the #1 person to blame: Marilyn Manson. MTV stopped
playing their videos, radio stations stopped playing their songs,
and people stopped talking about Marilyn Manson. I'm not saying everyone
hated this album though. For some people this was their favorite.
But many would call Mechanical Animals a failier. This is a
good album without a doubt and is worth looking at. This album is
a change of style, and what can I say? People have always had trouble
with a change...
