Opinon:

Smells Like Children is not quite what I call an album. Most of the songs are remixes. They are well mixed though. For example "Sweet Dreams" was an excellent remix of the Eurythmics' version. Actually "Sweet Dreams" is what first made Marilyn Manson and the kids known worldwide. All of a sudden you were 'cool' if you listened to Marilyn Manson.

In this album, Manson talks about wanting to be a kid again and wanting to be able to feel innocent again. This album talks about a story called "Purfume". It is about a boy, who was born with a distinct sense of smell. The boy realized that the only pure smell is the smell of children. So he eventully ended up as a mass murderer. Plus, the single "Shiti Chicken Gang Bang" is about this character called the 'Child Catcher' who Manson was very afraid as a kid. This 'Child Catcher' would sniff out children and kidknap them. Alot of people used ot say MArilyn looked like him.

A cool single, which I recomend is "Rock n' Roll Nigger" and the "Dance of the Dope Hats". There are various skits and phonecalls featured in the EP. I wouldn't call this one Marilyn Manson's best album, but it is well worth your money, as well as any other Marilyn Manson album.
