Beginning in 1996 with only seven members, the church has grown tenfold in five years. Epiphany was named not only for the story of the Magi, but also for God's surprise in the world, and for awakenings, insights and new beginnings.
THE JOY EXTENDS UUs around the country are finding joy and inspiration as they learn about this growing community. They sense that God is doing a new thing through creating Epiphany, and they are eager to join the congregation's new life and to support the emergence of other UU Christian congregations. Organizations that have already come forward to support Epiphany include: The Council of Christian Churches Within the UUA, the Evangelical Missionary Society, First Parish Church in Weston, King's Chapel, First Church in Salem (Unitarian), and the Fund for Unitarian Universalism. Members of Epiphany Church are profoundly grateful for this support and that of many individuals--and they know that they have a mission beyond their own walls.
SADDLE UP YOUR CAMEL AND JOIN THE RIDE! The Magi Network was formed not only to help grow Epiphany, but to help start and support other new UU Christian congregations throughout the country. We invite you to join us now. Contact us by email or post to learn more.
