**HAIR** The hair of a person afflicted with IP can be extremely wooly or kinky. There is some evidence of Alopecia
(loss of hair). There can be some streaking of the scalp and missing hair in the streaks.
***SKELETAL*** ~This is rare, only 1/3 reported cases reported these symptoms, which could be part of another condition.~
This is least often and mostly minor. * Skull- microcephaly (small head) * Palate- cleft palate, cleft
lip * Dwarfism or short stature * Clubfoot * Ear deformities (like cauliflower ear) * Abnormal development
of cartilage * Congenital dislocation of hip(s) * Incomplete development of one side of the spinal bones (vertebrae)
* Extra ribs
***CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM*** ~Also rare, but it is possible... not all cases have these problems... ~ The following,
I feel, can be the most heart-wrenching of all the possible effects. This can directly affect the way your child lives her
life. * Seizures * Mental retardation * Spina Bifida * Muscle Spasms (spasticity) * Slight
to Partial Paralysis * Developmentally Delays (hard time reaching those milestones) I would like to add that
the above are very rare, but are associated with IP.

white of the eye is tinted blue)
***TEETH*** * Missing teeth * Slow to get teeth * Mishapen (cone or peg shaped) * Abnormally small
in size
***MISCELLANEOUS*** * Hardened areas of skin with hyperpigmentation (more pigment, dark streaks) * Underdeveloped
breasts * Inverted/ missing nipples * Supernumerary nipples * Webbed fingers * P.D.A (Patent Ductus Arteriosus
