If your RAM crashes,
does it make a sound?

While you never want to hear it for real, you may find it fun to hear the noise your
computer makes when it fails its internal RAM check. Luckily, you can get your machine to
play the sounds without encountering problems. To do so, reboot your computer and as it
starts up, press the Interrupt button (the button with a circle on it) and then press the
Reset button (the button with the triangle on it).
The Macintosh II series computers play chimes, the Quadra AVs play the drums, the LC
computers play a flute sound, and the Power Macintoshes give you the sound of a crashing
car.
