Using Macintosh Auto Power On/Off with your Web Browser

Auto Power On/Off is a control panel that comes as part of the Macintosh OS 8.5. You can use it in conjunction with either Netscape or Internet Explorer for the Macintosh to turn on your computer at a specified time and open a Web site of your choice. For example, you can configure your Mac to turn on in the morning, so that when you wake up, IE 4.0 has already launched and retrieved the morning news from CNN.com. Let's take a look.
