Turn your Mac into
an Alarm Clock
You can also use the Auto Power On/Off feature to turn your Mac into an alarm clock and
have it wake you with a preconfigured audio CD, startup sound, and so on. In this example,
we've set our Mac to turn itself on everyday at 7:30 AM, so it can download the morning
news and E-mail. We set the Mac to turn itself off at 9:00 AM and configured it to warn us
10 minutes before shutdown. Of course, you can configure your Mac any way you like to best
coincide with your schedule
