Happenings Page 3

Whew...summers gone and so is winter...it seems so fast now.  We were blessed with a great year of showing and growing the love of Christ in Nome and Norton Sound.

We will praise God in all things... "This the the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it."

We thank God for our brothers and sisters at First Baptist Anchorage, West End Baptist Church, Alabama, Westgate Memorial Baptist in Beaumont, Texas and Pine Terrace, Florida for their being colaborers of the love of Christ in this region and for giving us the breath we breathe from Christ.

We thank God for our new family and friends.  We were blessed with a wonderful VBS and work team this summer for much needed facility repairs and fellowship.  Thanks for being part of our work and lives this past summer and for all they did and will do for the cause of Christ.

Tyler Burnell and Nickey Johnson were our summer missionaries and did an outstanding job in all that they approached with the love of God so evident in their hearts and lives.  We are much richer because of you.

We currently have no Youth Mentor and I've put in an MSC job request if you know of anyone who is interested.  This would of course be a tentmaker position.

Please continue to pray for all Native Youth who have been a part of the Alaska Native Youth Camp and the many who made statements of faith in Jesus Christ this past summer that they will faithfully follow and grow in the path that God lights before them.

Praise God for a revival going on at University of Alaska, Anchorage Campus...

Please pray for all youth and adults that made decisions and commitments this past year.  For their continued strenghtening, growth, and fellowship with beleivers and that they might become the Warriors (of love) for Christ that we are all called to be.  Please pray for God's wisdom to be upon us in what manner to best lead them into their growth and love in Christ.

May God richly bless you and keep you safe.
