Sharing the "Love of Christ"

Mission Statement

Nome Community Baptist Church will strive to show the light and love of Jesus Christ to all with whom we have contact in order that we might bring our family and friends in Nome and the Seward Peninsula region into a growing, committed fellowship of Christian discipleship.

We will live and lead others to "truly show the love of Christ...by following and leading others to follow his commandments"(John 14:15), by which we are able to gain our long sought after freedom through Christ Jesus.

We seek to bring the Truth of JESUS CHRIST to the wonderful people and especially the Alaska Native people of Nome and the Seward Peninsula Region of Alaska(Matt 28:19-20). We offer Bible Study and Fellowship six times a week, teaching and learning to live the Word of God, the Bible.  We seek to show the Love of Christ through outreach and prayer for all in need.  Stop by and visit with us at:

108 3rd Street, across from KNOM.

Or for a private meeting in your home or for prayer call us at (907) 443-5448.
