The saga continues....
June 5, 2000. My bro took this this pic for me when I made it to 350 pounds. I am standing in front of me and Alice's new abode, Trailer de la Luna. Does the shirt clash with the trailer, or do we compliment each other? Maybe I should stand there all the time, sort of like a modern-day (and larger-scale) lawn jockey.
This pic (right)was taken at my 6-month check-up. I am unsure of the weight here, too. As close as I have been able to determine from reading old journal entries, at this point I had lost about 145 pounds, which would put me at 337. I'll check with the dr.'s office to find out the exact number. Look how huge my glasses are. Of all the things I thought would change, having to buy new glasses wasn't one of them.
I couldn't get a picture taken right at the point I hit 300 pounds. I am 290 here (left), a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving 2000. Sandi took this one with her digital camera. Jeez...it's taken that damn long to lose 21 pounds?!?!
This was taken at my 1 year check-up. I am 276 pounds. The picture is so crappy because it's just a Polaroid. The last time I checked, they still hadn't gotten the "official" picture developed and added to my file.
I finally, finally, FINALLY reached 200 pounds lost. Here I am at 269 pounds, which is actually a 203 pounds loss. I have no idea what possessed me to have the pic taken with my shirt off. I especially like my lop-sided man breasts.. I guess I need to get one of those "man-sierres" that Kramer designed...or did they call it the "bro"? Pretty scar, too. |
