British Shorthairs contact 0860804087
We then decided to get a friend for Angel so we went to visit Glengath cattery. Here we met Toni who has been great to us and she introduced us to a cranky looking blue girl who reminded us immediately of Lucy, our Persian, that we lost the year before. Hence this blue baby now lives with us and is called Lucyliu. Thank you so much for everything Toni. Now British Shorthairs are becoming our main breed. They are so easy to live with and are gentle, loving and fun but they are not 'in your face cats' as they are independent. Here are the rest of the British family.
Grand Champion Darash Kilravock Leider (LEE) Lee came to live with us as an adult and I was concerned as to how he would settle and especially since he loved his previous owner so much and would miss her. After three days both my worries and his Mum's worries were put to rest. He is the most gentle and easy going boy one could hope for. He is a beautiful example of the breed and has an interesting pedigree that brings in almost every Irish British breeder. He is producing lovely kittens and is very gentle with his visiting Ladies. He was Best in Show at the Cork Cat Club show in 2002. Leider is now retired and living life as a pet.
Glengath Tweedledee (Lucyliu) Best British Kitten at the SABCCI show in Dublin 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say about Lucy???? We adore her. Her dad is Lee and she looks like him but is much bolder and cheekier. Lucy now lives in luxury and loves having babies every so often. She is such a lovely person and a dream to live with.
Ir. Grand Champion and Int Champion Sliabh Nasty Nic Nic is the son of our lovely lilac boy Champion Sliabh Eventhes and at his first show won, cc, BOB, Best Adult, and Best of Variety. what a start for our beautiful and as you can see very large cream boy. His Mum is the lovely Ch. Sliabh Jade..He has won so much for us and we are very proud of him, Thanks Nic. Nic now lives with Carol Ervine. He is now a UK champion also.
Champion Sliabh Jade(Jade) Jade had her first show at SABCCI 2007 and got Best Brithish Kitten. She nearly was withdrawn due to a travel sickness incident, but thanks to Tony Forshaw the day was saved and after an emergency wash and Blow dry she was in the show. We are hoping she will follow in her parents footsteps. Thanks to Ronnie Brooks for allowing us to use her stunning boy. 3 shows and 3 CC's, We are so thrilled with this lovely lady.
