Lucy Maud Montomery's Books

L.M. Montgomery has written many wonderful books. They are very well written. Her characters are so real that you would recognize them if you meet them on the street. I still like to read them whenever I want to take a trip to Prince Edward Island. All children should read Anne of Green Gables at least. The rest are also worth reading. However, I think that some of these books should be read only by older children.. I haven't let my eleven-year-old niece read some of these yet. I have made a note by those that I would save for someone who is sixteen or older. Each parent has to make his or her own decision. I would recommend a parent read the ones I have marked before allowing younger children to read them. You may disagree with me, but it is better safe than sorry.
Many of the books are offered here in hardback format, but Barnes and Nobel also has them in paperback. Just click on the book cover and choose paperback or hardback.
