2. BOTOX (Botulinum) injection treatment- for spasticity, cerebral palsy, post-stroke spasticity, writer's cramp, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, increased sweating of palms (hyperhidrosis),dystonia and migraine headaches, etc

3. In-patient facilities for acute/serious neurological problems such as coma, stroke, convulsions, brain fever, GBS,IVIG (Immunoglobulin treatment), thrombolysis in stroke, etc.

4. Diagnostic facilities such as EEG, EMG, Sleep studies, CT scan, MRI scan, Angiography, carotid doppler, etc.

Treatment of acute cerebral (brain) hemorrhage with recombinant Factor VII is routinely performed. 24X7 coverage of Emergencies in Casualty by a senior consultant is available. A Neuro ICU (9-bedded) equipped to handle all critical neuro conditions is available.

A unique feature of our department is the speed at which we work- the diagnosis is usually established in a few hours and treatment initiated within 4 hours in most cases. The time between admission and discharge ranges from 4-7 days for most patients.
