"We got the idea to create a fashion line because of all the trouble we have had trying to find fashionable apparel and accessories with just the right style and fit. Our first choice for a place to sell the clothes was Wal-Mart. We went there to see if they were interested and THEY WERE! Our designer Judy was totally into it too and we began designing. We traveled to Paris, Milan, London, and New York for design trends and inspiration. We wanted the fashions to be trend-forward so we went to the cities know for starting trends. We worked closely with our design team and Wal-Mart to get the styles, looks, and color palatte we wanted. We began sketching outfits, eyewear, accessories, footwear, purses and totes, sleepwear and swimwear, with our design team to see what worked and what didn't. We went for style and comfort, and we wanted complete outfits so accessories were important. Next, our design team went out and searched for fabrics that we like here and in Europe. We wanted quality and comfort and most importantly -- look. We had meetings with our design team, the manufacturers, and Wal-Mart to make sure everything was going according to plan. After the sketches and the fabrics were chosen the manufacturers started assembling the outfits. We had many fittings to see what we liked and didn't like about the outfits. We added things along the way and we also got rid of things that just didn't work with the different looks. The rest is fashion history!
