Riley and Chloe, too, have the everyday problems teenage girls face, on top of dealing with their two very different, somewhat bizarre separated parents. Their mom, Macy Carlson, lives in a dream beach house in Malibu, California and has a glamour job as a high fashion designer and very successful executive. |

# 101 - Dog Day Afternoon Chloe discovers by accident that a dog training book not only works on her new puppy, but also works on training boys! Riley is totally against it, but takes advantage of Chloe's discovery when the short, simple commands end up working on Larry. Macy has to design incredible dress at the last minute for Tedi to wear at the Billboard Music Awards after the one she intially designed looks too much like the one Madonna wore last year to the Golden Globes. Will Macy put her pride aside and turn to Jakes designing expertise? Will Chloe be successful in training her crush, Travis? See just how creative the Carlson's are in this premiere episode! #102 - Siblings and the City Chloe and Riley try to find dates for the Save the Seals Benefit dance. Chloe try's to get Travis to ask her to the dance. Riley almost goes with Larry. Macy and Grant try to find dates also. Will they finds dates? #103 - The Color of Money Chloe and Riley want to go to a concert, but they don't have much money. Larry steals money from the school fund-raiser to buy concert tickets for the girls. Manuelo gets mad at Grant for ruining his date. At the end, the girls get money back from their classmates for doing jobs for the girls and Manuelo tells Grant that they are over going on dates together. #104 - Theres Something about Riley Larry trys to get Riley to like him by making himself look cool. Larry ends up asking his friend Tony to talk to Riley and make him look good to her. Instead Tony uses the opportunity to romance Riley himself. Their ends up being a forest fire in their neighboorhood and they had to go to Malibu High. At the end, Riley tells Tony off about using Larry. #105 - Girls Just Want to Have Fun Chloe and Riley decide it's time to get a social life. No more Friday night with mom or no more root beer floats at the ice cream parlor. They girls decide to get the most bad girl in school to be their way to get into the party of the year. The scene is set for a wild night of sneaking out of the house and getting into the most wildest party of the year!!! There's only one thing that could stop them..Sleep! #106 - You've Got Mail !! The girl's perform community service, with Chloe cheering up a grumpy old man and Riley picking up litter with Larry. Riley starts to like Larry a little. But then she makes a mistake of kissing him and trys to make herself believe it didn't happen. Meanwhile, Chloe trys the hardest to get the old man happy,she finds out that its his birthday. Then she gets Tedi to surprise him with a birthday cake and a night at Neptunes. # 107 - Manuelo in the Middle (Part 1) Nothing is more stressful then Career Day at school, especially for the unemployeed ! The first part of this two parter forces Chloe and Riley to make an important decision --- who to pick to come and speak at Career Day ? Chloe picks Tedi and Manuelo chooses Riley. To Riley's surprise, Manuelo turns out to be a big hit to her classmates. The ending isn't so Happily Ever After, however, when Manuelo is over-looked for the family photo #108 - Manuelo in the Middle (Part 2) In Part 1 of Part 2 Manuelo splits after not being asked to be in the family photo. After being with the Carlson Family for 15 years, he feels he was apart of the family, but obviously, they dont. Will Manuel ever come back? Will the Carlsons prove how much they need him? Can even they scheme their way out of this one ? #109 - True Lies Find out if Riley and Chloe are Martha Stewarts in the making when they are forced to take sewing and cooking classes. The girls, to awarded for their so-called talents, end up being part of Macy's interview for RAG Magazine. Jake has to help out when Macy freaks out over the interview. The article dosen't turn out as well as it expected and everyone ends up with frozen body parts and detention! If that isn't enough, this episode will leave you wondering if Larry is the next Calvin Klein or better yet, the next Jake Carlson? #110 - Tedi's Burnout This episode is about killing two butts with one stone! Borrowing your sister's clothes can be an occupational hazard! In this episode Chloe borrows a blouse of Riley's and gets all the attention. Tedi finds out that modelings isn't her cup of tea, or should we say hamburger, anymore! She'd rather eat an onion ring than walk down a runway. What will Macy do? What will Riley do? The outcome is definitely debatable! Breakfast Club Chloe's worst nightmare comes true in this episode. She is awarded the "Good Citizen of the Month'' again ! The major problem with this is her crush Travis Morgan is always in trouble. Chlow knows that the only way she'll get to spend time with Travis is to join him in detention. The only problem is, how does a good girl convince the powers that be that she's bad ? #111 - Lovers and Other Slotnicks Larry's father falls for Macy while the girl's teacher falls for Jake. #112 - Rules of Engagement When Riley and Chloe realize that they're interested in different colleges, they take part in a trial separation. #113 - Outbreak Episode Informatin To Be Announced Almost Famous To find out who her secret admirer is, Chloe arranges to meet him. It's only when she mistakens him for someone else that her true admirer finds someone else. Macy and Grant ruin Riley's charity benefit when they hire Tedi for the lead role. CHARACTORS Riley: Riley Carlson, played by Mary-Kate Olsen, is a little on the 'save the world' side. She's a lot like her father in that way. Riley takes most things in stride and is an easy going kind of girl. She is genuine and finds it hard to say 'no' fearing that she will hurt someone's feelings. There is one thing that is plauging Riley's life and that plague is Larry! Chloe: Chloe Carlson, played by Ashley Olsen, is very high strung. She's got her mothers' geans. Chloe is an over-achiever like Macy, but instead of actually doing all the hard work to get what she wants, she'll scheme her way out of it and get the same results! Chloe cares about looks, boys, and shopping, and will stop @ nothing to succeed in all 3 categories!!! Manuelo: housekeeper/therapist. Manuelo has been with the Carlson family for 15 years. He has practically raised Riley and Chloe as the family's nanny and now, as he calls it, a 'domestic.' Manuelo is a 21st century housekeeper with attitude! A counterpart to Wil and Grace's Rosario, Manuelo has got all the Latino charm of Ricky Ricardo, but scince he's one of the family, he pretty much says whatever he wants! Manuelo can solve any dating problem, all while whipping up some unbelieveable beef stroganoff, and you know what? ..........He doesn't hate it! Larry: Larry would call himself a hopeless romantic, but everyone else on the planet might refer to him as a teenage stalker!!! Larry lives for Riley and follows her around like a lost puppy. The only problem is, girls of his age don't want what they can have, they want what they can't have, and so Riley finds him to be dorky annoyance and yes, at times, utterly repulsive. Teddi: Teddi is a high powered super model who works for Macy. Teddi is street smart, unlike most other models, so she pretty much tells it like it is without holding back. She walks the walk, has an angelic flawless face, holds herself like a lady, but when she opens her mouth she sounds like a sailor on leave! Basically, Teddi is one part Tyra Banks and one part L'il Kim, wrapped up in a tigh gucci belt! Maci: Macy is Chloe and Rileys high-strung over-achieving mom. She wants her girls to grow up with a sense of confidence and ambition. Macy lives with her girls in a dream beach house in California. She runs an extremely successful fashion empire, all as she raises her two teenage girls. Macy is finding it a little too hard to move on from her separation with her husband, mainly because he lives in a trailer NEXT DOOR! Jake: Jake is Chloe and Rileys dad. Although, he and wife Macy have separated, he still wants to be a part of his daughters lives. He decided to get out of the fashion business he started with his wife in order to have a better quality of life. Jake lives next door to Macy and the girls in a tiny trailer. He is desperately trying to find himself as well as trying to raise his girls with an understanding of what he thinks, life is all about. |
