"Lucy"had a very consistent start to her show career. She made her debut at L.K.A. Championship Show, the last show of 2003 where she was V.H.C. in a superb Minor Puppy Bitch class which was won be her kennel mate Walkon Bunny Girl

She was 1st in her first two Minor Puppy Bitch classes of 2004, the Anglian Boxer Club Championship Show and the Scottish Boxer Club Limited Show, and followed this with a 2nd, in a super Minor Puppy Bitch class at the Midland Boxer Club Championship Show in February.

During March "Lucy" moved into Puppy Classes while the slightly older Walkon Bunny Girl, although still a puppy, was been shown in Novice.
"Lucy" was 3rd in good company at both the Scottish Boxer Club and Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Championship Shows in March and at her first two shows in April was Best Puppy Bitch at the Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show and 1st Puppy Bitch the following week at the Northern Boxer Club Championship Show.
She has attended three more shows as a puppy, continuing her winning ways being placed 2nd in Puppy Bitch at Tyne,Wear & Tees Boxer Club and the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Shows and 4th in Puppy Bitch at Birmingham National Championship Show.

During the remainder of 2004 and 2005 "Lucy" was only shown about a dozen times but with remarkable cosistancy, being 1st or 2nd in almost all her classes.

In October 2005 we were thrilled when she won the Scottish Boxer Club Top Dog 2004 competition. She beat her more illustrious kennel mates (incuding Ch Roamaro Fun In The Sun With Walkon and Ch Roamaro Razzle Dazzle For Walkon) to win Best Adult and Best Overall Winner beating the Gillespies Walkon Drizzle At Scotbox who was Best Puppy on the night.
The 2005 competition was held in February 2006 where she held her titles beating Walkon Commander Bond in the final so it was a great night for the WALKON TEAM.

During 2006 she returned to the Championship Show scene and was quietly and consistently placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Open Bitch in strong company. She was shortlisted for the CC at WELKS and Tyne Wear & Tees B.C. Championship Shows shortly before winning her first CC at Three Counties Championship Show in June and her second CC at Blackpool Show two weeks later under Stuart Mallard and Terry Thorn respectively.
She ended 2006 as one of the Top UK Bitches qualifying for the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The Year competition.

She started 2007 well with a 1st Open Bitch at Manchester Championship Show, the first show of the year and a 3rd in Open bitch at Crufts in a class with an entry of 14 including 7 champions!

Almost without exception she has been placed in the first three in all the Open Bitch classes this year and has added a further 2 RCC's to her tally at The Mancunian Boxer Club Show, under breed specialist Rita Williams and Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales under all rounder Albert Wight.

"Lucy" thrilled us at Driffield Championship Show (21.09.07) when under breed specialist Margaret Wildman she gained that, up till then elusive, 3rd CC to gain her Champions Title, going on to be shortlisted in the last seven of the Working Group and followed it just over a week later with a 3rd RCC from Frank Wildman.

A well constructed young lady with good angulation front and rear topped by a lovely head of correct proportions and a kind eye. Her pedigree boasts almost all the top sires of recent years and we hope she will be an asset for the future of the kennel.

"Lucy" whelped her first litter to Ch & Ir Ch Sandcliffe Snog In The Fog At Jimbren in December 2008 producing a lovely litter which included a long awaited red & white bitch called Walkon Ain't No Stripes !
