Ch Walkon Bunny Girl
Born 22.04.03 to 21.03.13
Heart Tested Grade 1

"Bunny" had a very sucessful start to her show career winning Best Puppy In breed at L.K.A. Championship Show the last show of 2003, and started 2004 in style winning Best Puppy In Show, Best Bitch and Reserve Best In Show at the Scottish Boxer Club Limited Show in February.

In addition she was Runner Up Top Puppy at The Scottish Boxer Club's Top Dog 2003 Competition.

Although still a puppy, she was shown in Novice classes to allow her kennel mate Walkon Ain't No Saint to be shown in Puppy Bitch. Despite the age disadvantage "Bunny" won Novice Bitch at the Scottish Boxer Club Championship Show in March 2004 and was pulled into the last four for the CC. The following week at Essex & Eastern Counties Boxer Club Championship Show she again won Novice Bitch as well as Best Puppy Bitch in Show.

Her winning run continued into May and at the Tyne, Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship Show, her first outing as "a grown up" being just over 12 months old, she won her 3rd Novice Bitch class. She followed this with three more Novice Bitch wins on her next outings at the Birmingham National, Scottish Kennel Club and Border Union Championship Shows.

During the rest of 2004 and 2005 she steadily won her way out of Graduate and Post Graduate ending the year with three Limit Wins to her credit as well as 1RCC which she won at the South Western Boxer Club Championship Show under Michael Quinney.

She has qualified as one of the Top UK Bitches of 2005 for the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The year competition.

She missed the last show of 2005 and the first two shows of 2006 having taken time off for her first litter to Ch Boxken Big Issue which produced the Runner Up UK Top Puppy 2006 Walkon Atomic Kitten (4 RCC) and Can. Ch Walkon Heather Cream before returning to the Championship Show scene in March 2006 where she was consistently placed in Limit Bitch and shortlisted for the CC.

In October, at the Scottish Boxer Club Open Show under breed specialist Vicky Bell, she won Open Bitch, Best Bitch & Reserve Best In Show shortly before Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland Championship Show where under breed specialist Margaret Sandilands she won her 5th Limit Class & 2nd RCC.

Never one to be outdone by her kennel mates however "Bunny" went to her first show of the year Crufts 2007 where she won her 6th Limit Bitch class and that long overdue 1st CC!

This was our 4th CC at Crufts our last one having been won eleven years earlier by her famous father Ch & Ir Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon

"Bunny" was not shown again until the end of June as she took time out for her second litter to Ch Walkon Made'n Issue producing four lovely bitches with little to choose between them! Three of them have been shown and won at Championship Shows. Walkon Bunny Hugger won Best Puppy In Breed at CRUFTS 2008 and Walkon Tantrums And Tiaras At Bonobo has since then won her Champion's Title.

On her return to the show ring she continued her consistent form being placed in the first three in every Limit Bitch class entered. At The Scottish Kennel Club Show in August under Breed Specialist Jenny Townshend she had her 7th Limit win moving her into the Open classes. Far from being outclassed in Open she has maintained her placings in the first three on all but one occasion. She won her 2nd CC at the Trent Boxer Club Show in October under breed specialist Mandy Laidlaw and a 3rd RCC at the penultimate show of the year, the Cotswold Boxer Club under all rounder Frank Kane, and along with her daughter Walkon Atomic Kitten (3RCC's) she ended 2007 as one of the UK's Top Bitches qualifying for the Cotswold Boxer Club's Dog Of The Year competition.

She started 2008 in style winning 1st Open Bitch at the Midland Boxer Club Show and was never out the cards in Open Bitch at every show. She won her 4th RCC at National Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship Show in July under all rounder Stuart Mallard but kept her best until last at the Belfast Championship Show in September where under all rounder Brenda Banbury she won her crowning 3rd CC & Best of Breed This made her the 13th Champion for Ch & Ir Ch Blueprint Beern Skittles At Walkon.
Now the luck of the Irish was obviously with us that day, and as she was in full season she was then mated to the Dog CC winner - Ch Lanfrese Sure Thing At Manic and like the Prima Donna she is without turning a hair she went on to win the Working Group!

She returned to the show ring, as one of the finalists in the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The Year in March 2009, at nearly six years old and with 3 litters to her credit looked as good as ever!

"Bunny" has a breathtaking outline and a lovely head with a wicked expression and having already proven herself in her first two litters to be a "Walkon Super Mum" her third litter was no less dissapointing. Mated to Ch Lanfesse Surething At Manic "Bunny" once again produced three lovely bitches all of whom are in show homes! Our own Walkon Pin Up Girl and her sister Walkon Gossip Girl At Bonobo both ended 2009 as two of the top puppy bitches of the year and Pin Up Girl won 2CC's during 2010.

A fourth and last litter to Int Ch Crom Dei Centurioni pleased us just as much as her previous litters and the bitch we kept Walkon Coniglietta's, a consistent winner in Minor and Puppy classes ended the year as one of the Top Puppies 2010.

With this latest baby just 4 months old and "Bunny" decided it was time to come out for her first veteran class which she took the way she does everything in life - by storm, easily out moving most of the younger bitches and winning Best Veteran In Show! Throughout her career "Bunny" has won 3 CC's, 4 RCC's, 1 Best of Breed, 1 Working Group and was awarded theDog World Top Brood Bitch 2010 thanks to daughters Ch Walkon Tantrums And Tiaras At Bonobo and Walkon Pin Up Girl and the British Boxer Club's Dam of Merit 2011.

"Bunny" is the repeat mating of Walkon Playboy who was shown sparingly in 2003 and Walkon Playing The Fool (RCC).
