On joining the Walkon Show Team in July 2006, "Tomi" was consitently placed, in the first three, in her Minor Puppy & Puppy Classes. In August she won Best Puppy Bitch at Working Breeds Of Wales Championship Show under breed specialist Gert Neilson, only being beaten for Best Puppy In Breed by her half brother Ch Walkon Made'n Issue The same senario was repeated at both the Trent Boxer Club Championship Show and the Scottish Boxer Club Open Show in October!

Not to be outdone however, she turned the tables on him at Belfast Championship Show and two days later at Driffield Championship Show. A fortnight after that at London & Home Counties Boxer Club Championship Show she was once again Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy In Breed. She ended 2006 with a further five wins in Puppy Bitch classes at Championship Shows at three of which she was also Best Puppy In Breed. This resulted in her ending the year as Runner Up UK Top Puppy 2006 to none other than her half brother Ch Walkon Made'n Issue as well as one of the Top UK Bitches qualifying for the Cotswold Boxer Club Dog Of The Year competition.

The highlight of her year however was at the Working & Pastoral Breed Of Scotland Championship Show where following her Best Puppy In Breed under breed specialist Margaret Sandilands, she went on to win Best Puppy In Show.

Following on from this "Tomi" started 2007 in style by winning a very strong Junior Bitch class at Crufts under breed specialist Arthur Butters and had further wins in Novice at the Mancunian Boxer Club Championship Show and in Junior at the Northern Boxer Club Championship Show where she was shortlisted for the CC
With two firsts and a second in her next three classes "Tomi" won her first RCC at WELKS under breed specialist Veronica Feaver in strong company from the Junior Bitch class followed by another first in Novice Bitch at Tyne, Wear & Tees Boxer Club Championship show under breed specialist Bruce Cattanach a week later.
She then continued this success with two more 1st's, at SKC and Border Union Championship Shows, in Novice & Junior Bitch winning her 2nd RCC, much to our delight, at Border Union from a strong bitch line up under breed specialist Carol Chippendale.

Throughout the rest of the year "Tomi" was first or second in all but three of her classes, when she was third! She won seven more 1st's in Yearling, Graduate & Post Graduate classes at Championship Shows, and won a further 2 RCC's under all rounder Steve Hall, at Paignton in July and at Midland Counties in October, under breed specialist Julie Brown.
In addition in October she was Best In Show at the Scottish Boxer Club Open Show under breed specialist Michael Bruggenburg-Rothschild.

She ended 2007 on 4RCC's and as one of the Uk's Top Bitches and again qualified for the Cotswold Boxer Club's Dog Of The Year competition for the second year running.

At her first two shows of 2008, "Tomi" continued her winning ways with Best Headed Bitch In Show at the Midland Boxer Club Championship Show and then 1st in Minor Limit at CRUFTS and shortlisted in the last 4 for the Bitch CC which she repeated more than once throughout the year!
She continued to consistently win her classes throughout 2008 winning her way into Limit by June that year. With her Mum Walkon Bunny Girl sitting on two CC's and only eligible for Open classes we decided to take "Tomi" out the ring and hopefully leave the way clearer for "Bunny". To this end "Tomi" was mated, and in October produced a lovely litter to Lichdel Uncle Silas At Winuwuk from which we have kept a very pretty brindle bitch called Walkon Atomic Rooster.

She returned to the show ring at the start of 2009 taking her mothers place in the Open Bitch classes as Roamaro First Issue By Walkon had to move up to the Limit classes following her two CC wins at the end of 2008.
In February she was Best Bitch & Reserve Best In Show at the Scottish Boxer Club Limited Show under breed specialist Val Jordan and in March at the Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Championship Show she won a lovely Open Bitch Class under breed specialist Carol Schofield.

With so many youngsters to show, including her own very successful daughter, "Tomi" stayed at home from May 2009 until October when a trip out to the Scottish Boxer Club Open Show was rewarded with Best In Show under Fiona Goodwin.

She has a spectacular outline with a lovely well balanced head and delightfully wicked expression and we hope she will continue to make the odd appearance as part of the show team.
