The Academy was established in 1995 and is included in the International Academy of Mineral Resources - IAMR. Among the members of the IAMR are England, Argentine, Bulgaria, Vietnam, China, Syria, USA and Ecuador, together with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bylorussia, Georgia, Kazakstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. AMR of the Republic of Kazakstan enjoys a leading position in the IAMR, due not only to the mineral wealth of Kazakstan, but also to the great scientific and industrial potential of the Republic in the field of mineral resources complex.
