Since we have been playing SWOTL we have become interested in historical airplanes
of WWII, particularly German aircraft and "Secret Weapons" of the Luftwaffe
.

This game inspired us to make these pages. Actually we still play it everynow and then, but it is of course outdated
Some time ago I heard rumors of software-company who aquired the rights for the game to bring out a new version,
but these rumors come and go frequently.

The following picture shows one of the most astonishing aircraft of WWII .The GO229 "Flying WING" - actually HO-229

It had excellent flying characteristics but crashed on its second flight. Due to shortage of resources, only a few prototypes were built to the end of the war. None of them was ever used in action

DISCLAIMER
Because of some stupid comments in my guestbook I declare, that my website is not political and I do not admire Hitler and the 3rd Reich. My interest in the german planes of WWII is technical and historical. If someone may think that the comments and descriptions of the planes are pro-german I have to point out , that I copied the text from historical english/american publications.
