Restigouche County was a very active place during WW1, and WW2 according to the local newspaper, and this is where I got most of my information. Some of it is hard to decipher as the papers were older by the time they were placed on microfilms and the microfilm printer where I go at the local library doesnt do much of a good job unfortunatly.
So here is the best I could do with what I had and I will keep adding to it, time permitting.
Also please keep in mind that if you have any information, pictures, letters, stories, names you want honored among the HEROES, please email me and I will gladly add what you have to this site. THANK YOU to those who have already sent me pictures and a bit of history.
